For some unknown reason people seem to think they can build a website and amazingly it will just show up in the top of the search engines. Now many moons ago that might have been possible but not in this day and age. Getting ranked on search engines is a continual battle and only the strong survive.
It use to be enough that you could get a good domain name, put a great title, some keywords and a great description on all your website pages and you were golden. Well nowadays that is all still great to do, but if that is all you are doing then you are not going to see the results you expect.
You now not only have to make sure you website is coded exactly right, but you have to keep up on the search engines and see if they are changing anything and if so you might have to tweak your site.
You can also use the social media platforms and get your name out there such as on your Facebook business page (if your a business you better have one), or you can use Linkedin and get you name out there. There are entirely too many platforms that you have to market to in order to see any results. Now if you are like some and just too busy to do it then find someone to do it for you.
Word to the wise when you go looking for someone, ask to see “proven” results from marketing campaigns they have managed. Just because they might have 1,000+ friends on Facebook does not mean they are the most amazing marketer known to mankind…It might just mean they know how to go to a site live fiverr.com and pay $5 for hundreds of friends…Trust me it happens.
Backlinks is another important aspect to look at. The more places your website (URL) shows up the better for your rankings. Now there is always argument about linkbacks and are they “follow” or “nofollow”, or what page rank they have and a million and one other things…But, the bottom line is get backlinks no matter what. Easy inexpensive package can be found at www.buydofollowlinks.com
Set some time aside each week and really have a plan on how you are going to market your business and ways to go about it. It’s like when you are looking for a storefront everyone tells you location, location, location….Well to be a successful business you better be marketing, marketing, marketing.

I am in constant marketing mode. I blanket any area i can. I do all my own printing saves me some cash to blanket more areas than I would if i had a company print it.
keys i found
Dont over sell your papers. Dont list too much info. give them what they want to know. Your starting price, Your experiance and conveiance of contancting you and conveinace in general
dont wast your paper or ink. I print on a whole sheet for 3 flyers. In B&W but on flashy paper. I use the tri fold “chinese Menu” style and print in land scape. this way i maximize my advertise ment. In some areas (bullition boards) space is limited so i use flashy but small papers.
another style i do is i use same style, but i make 6 squares. I make it affordable big and also professional big and i make the biggest my low no hr rate price. It is bigger than a business card but better.
Use free ad papers, some newspapers print free ads on them
In some areas (cherk your laws) this may be illegal. But you go to a retail location like them geeks. and place flyers under window whipers. In my state this is a fine, others not.
