Ever since getting an iPhone like others I am into the App’s scene. What amazes me is the work these developers put into making these app’s. What is more amazing is the feedback some of these people get.
Here is an example for the app called Paper Football. Like the title says you flick a football through the goal post and score. Nothing complicated, nothing high-tech. So you get the concept. Now I go and read the reviews for this app and I see comments like this:
*Don’t waste your time or money
*Just ok
*Update is horrible
*Garbage in a can
Now this app does cost $4.99…..I don’t really understand some of these reviews. What exactly did the buyer think they were getting when they purchased this app? It’s spelled out what the app does. It is not Madden football and never claimed to be.
Most apps you will find for something like $.99 or $1.99 and yet you still see the same reviews from alot of customers. Heck you even get reviews like this for “free” apps.
Granted some apps may not be perfect…But, all you are buying is an iPhone app. You are not buying the code for Vista.
Maybe it’s just me but I think the developers of these apps put considerable time into them and it should be appreciated a bit more…

Hey, i know you from technibble! lol. but yeah, as you stated in your post, owning an iPhone, it’s inevitable that you’ll get into the app scene. and i agree with you on the reviews, some people just want something to flame i guess… because like you said, the app spells it out for you right before you download it.
