I think if you have a business then you need to have a Facebook page for your buisness. There are many reason for this and the first one is millions of people use Facebook. The second reason is it’s free advertising.

So let’s say you decide you are going to create that Facebook page for you business. You have it created and you find yourself making wall post every few day in order to keep people coming back to read more about your business or what specials you might be having. All that is great……

But, you wil notice that on your business page “Wall” there is are a few selections for people pertaining to what wall post they want to read and typically they are:
Your Business Name + Others
or
Your Business Name
or
Just Others

Now if you go and “edit” your page you will see a box for “Manage Permissions” in there you can select “Wall Tab Shows” and then you decide:
All Post
or
Only Post By Page

If you do all post and go back to your business page and click on the “Your Business Name + Others” you will probably see post such as this one:

Zuhal Akgün Did you see the flash news about work-at-home-mom ? She makes $89/hour working part time. Monthly 8795 $ income from home… I just signed up and already earned 72 $ this hour. It is really amazing…
If you are looking for a work-at-home job, i suggest you to take a look at this press now… nldk

Now I am sure you do not know Zuhal Akgun nor do any of your friends on your business page. But, Zuhal has decided to just randomly put post on your business page (as well as probably a few thousand other peoples pages)…..

Make sure if you create a Facebook business page that you watch to see what is posted.

This article highlights what I think many people need to realize. The business world is taking a drastic turn towards social media and it’s important to notice that even though it’s a relaxed platform, it still represents your business and it needs to stay that way. Good post on locking that down!

Social Networking is now not only a means to mingle and interact with friends and other peopl. Yet since many people are members of the social network, why not optimize its use and utilize it as an effective marketing tool.

As good as social media marketing is, there is no substitute for the good old word of mouth. The quality of the referrals is key to success in business. If you do a good job, a happy customer will tell one person, if you do a bad job, an unhappy person will tell 10 people.

Facebook is an amazing tool. I quit using it over the summer because I could not find the time to make those few Facebook posts a week. I could tell a negative difference, so I decided to start back up again at http://www.facebook.com/hillvalleydigital.

Make sure that when you get a facebook page and you get 25 likes that you go and get a username for your page. It is more professional and easier to link to.
